Hi Adele,
We were all absolutely blown away by your Capoeira workshops. The artist was amazing! I'd like to enquire about booking him again in the Spring term. Our Year 6 do a topic on South America and myself and the year 6 teacher would love for them to work with you on a weekly basis, for the half term, to come up with a Capoeira 'routine' that they could share in their class assembly.
Kind regards, Amy Twiss Green Primary

Chinese New Year 2018
Ian was absolutely amazing. He has such a lovely, calm and friendly way with children and adults alike.
Please find attached the evaluation form, and just to say not a bad word was said in the feedback I received from staff, children and parents. In fact I didn’t have enough space to write all the wonderful reviews.
We really look forward to working with Ian in our next workshop.
Thank you! Sarah Hutton Scargill Infant School
Capoeira Course April 2019
Over the past few weeks, children from our Yr 6 classes have been thoroughly engaged in the Capoeira lessons. They have motivated and challenged the children, as they have learnt a variety of new moves. They have also had the opportunity to play instruments that would be used and have gained new vocabulary. Also, they have learnt to count in Portuguese and were able to take part in singing. The warm up was especially great and really challenged them.
Thank you so much for these sessions,
Jessica and Debbie (Year 6 teachers at Knutsford Primary Academy)
Capoeira Streetsbrook Foundation Stage March 2016
The session was well planned and had lots of fun and inspiring movements. The children understood what was expected of them and coped well.
Appropriate for age perfect! All happy smiling children!
Capoeira Workshop April 2015
All went very well, thank you! The children responded well to Julio and he challenged them with different types of movement. I liked his manner with the children; he's a great guy. I think they were impressed to see a bona fide Brazilian Capoeira instructor with very professional looking video! The only shame was there was so much to share and so little time. Emma Smart

Testimonial Nechells + Education Action Zone used Workshops for Schools to provide a varied menu of activities to a cluster of eight schools during International Week. Children were offered opportunities to engage in Indian Dance, Arts and Crafts activities, Bhangra Bollywood and story telling, Japanese Drumming, Yoga, and Print Making which were presented in a professional manner, fully planned and differentiated to ensure access for all.
Feedback from staff, children and parents was extremely positive and the activities met our objectives of encouraging children to appreciate and value the diversity of people’s backgrounds and circumstances across the cluster.
''The workshops encouraged meaningful interaction and gave opportunities to learn about different countries and communities. Working across a cluster of schools can be very complex but Workshops for Schools simplified the process and ensured our children and staff had an amazing experience.''
