Tai Chi is a traditional Chinese exercise. It is a 400 year old art of mental and physical balance often referred to as a moving meditation. It has been used for centuries to maintain health both physically and mentally.

Tai Chi workshops, like yoga, link readily with ‘Healthy schools' and ‘Every Child Matters: empowering pupils of all ages to fulfill their true potential with confidence is the ultimate goal.'
Tai Chi Workshops will help pupils learn the key elements of Tai chi movements in a physical yet relaxing class. We can link this workshop together with a nutrition assembly if  wished .

Tai Chi offers many benefits to children and recent studies have shown improvement in:
  • Ability to stay calm
  • Co-ordination and flexibility
  • Creativity and visualization
  • Improved attention and concentration
  • Improved self esteem and confidence
Workshops are available for children of all ages and again run from 40-60 minutes. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Ron was brilliant! All the teachers commented on how well the workshop was pitched to the children of different age groups. Ron left is some evaluation forms which I will look to send back to you tomorrow once the staff have completed them.

Another very successful day. Everyone loved the instructor and staff were impressed at how calm the children were during the Tai Chi sesssion. I will be looking to booking both Yoga & Tai Chi sessions next year.
